South Orange County Brew Team Brings Fresh Vision, New Flavor to Delahunt Brewing Co.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — August 24, 2023 — Celebrated Orange County-based Delahunt Brewing Co. today announces its new team of brewery veterans who assumed ownership of the three year-old company and its two Southern Orange County locations. Of note, Dana Point local and award-winning brewer Chris Linn, formerly of Bottle Logic Brewing, Modern Times Beer, Beachwood Brewing and Laguna Beach Beer Company, emerges as head brewer.

Passionate about beer, operations geeks and community die-hards: this complementary brew crew is kicking it into gear right out the gate, focusing on consistency and fun, with quality at the core.

“We’re proud of what we built,” said Todd Delahunt, who founded Delahunt Brewing Co. “And we’ve found the right people to whom we’ve passed the torch.”

The Team:

Miles McLennan. CEO, draws on his many years of marketing, sales and operational experience to provide team leadership at Delahunt. McLennan is a craft beer enthusiast and decorated homebrewer at national and regional levels, including collaboration brews with Stone and Modern Times. McLennan has been active in the homebrewing community, including QUAFF and Meisters of the Brewniverse.

Brandon Portnoff, President, is the man behind local institution O'Shea Brew Co., a craft beer keg and bottle shop, homebrew supply and tasting room featuring top quality beers on tap. Located in Laguna Niguel, O’Shea’s has been serving the OC craft and homebrew community since 1991. Portnoff adds his extensive knowledge of beer, draft systems and business acumen to the mix.

Chris Linn, Head Brewer, hails from Dana Point and brings a rich brewing history from renowned establishments including Bottle Logic Brewing, Beachwood Brewing, Modern Times Beer and Laguna Beach Beer Company. 

Noah Lunt, Brewer, has seen it all in the brewery world, from keg washing to leading as the head brewer at Laguna Beach Beer Company. Lunt’s ground-up experience promises exciting things for Delahunt's future brews and staff. Lunt holds a degree in business operations.

Chris Leal, Leadership and Operations, is known for his extensive management background, problem-solving skills and infectious positivity. Chris is no stranger to the brewing community. Former tasting room manager at Chapman Crafted Beer and O'Shea Brew Supply, Chris' hands-on approach will be invaluable in the day-to-day operations.

Dylan Butler, Technical Advisor, is a powerhouse agent of tech and creativity. A SoCal native, seasoned technologist and engineering leader, Dylan’s insights into transformative technology will usher in a new era for Delahunt Brewing Co.

Tom Linn, Advisor, with his expansive CPA expertise in mergers and acquisitions, brings over two decades of experience in high-value transactions. Tom’s vast knowledge will undoubtedly guide the company's financial future.

Founded in 2020, Delahunt Brewing Company emerged with an unyielding focus on quality. The company has grown significantly, marked by the recent opening of the Dana Point Taproom + Taqueria, and the dedicated taproom at its San Clemente production facility.
